“Mining for localization in Android” at MSR2102

As I told before, these days I attended to MSR Conference and I presented a short paper for the Mining Challenge, called “Mining for localization in Android”, in joint work with Gregorio Robles.

I will use this blog post to include all the information (that I can) related to the article. So this is an evolving post, that I will update as soon as I clarify the publishing possibilities of each item.

For now, here you are:

  • Learn about when, why and how I decided to write the article, and the people that helped me to develop the required curiosity and skills to jump into this task, in another blog post.
  • Read the abstract in the MSR 2012 website, or the full article (preprint) via my #pdftribute blogpost or at the URJC Digital Archive.
  • Download the slides used in the presentation, the raw data, scripts, database dumps and results for reproduce, modify or extend the study in Gregorio Robles’ site. All the scripts are licensed as free software (GPLv3), and the slides are licensed as CC-BY.
  • Read about some things that I learned writing my very first research paper in another blog post (Spanish).

Feel free to contact me for any question or suggestion.

I hope you like it!
